ABOUT LEGACY 7
More Than a Team. A Standard.
The Founder
Built From a Purpose
Justin Floyd founded Legacy 7 United with a single conviction: youth athletics is one of the most powerful arenas for building the next generation of leaders. Not just better football players — better people.
Growing up watching coaches shape athletes into men and women of character, Justin carried those lessons into adulthood. When he arrived in Brambleton, Virginia, he saw young athletes with raw talent, enormous potential, and a need for a program that demanded more from them than just showing up.
Legacy 7 United was the answer. A place where the standard is higher — where effort is non-negotiable, where character is coached alongside technique, and where every child who walks on the field leaves with more than they brought.

The Origin
Started in Brambleton
Legacy 7 United began on the flag football fields of Loudoun County. Coaching in the Loudoun NFL Flag league, Justin quickly realized that the window to impact a young athlete is narrow — and the opportunity is enormous.
Brambleton is more than a location. It is a community of families who expect excellence, who invest in their children's futures, and who understand that sports are a classroom for life. Legacy 7 United was built to meet that standard and exceed it.
What started as a recreational team quickly evolved into something larger — a developmental organization with a clear philosophy, a defined culture, and a long-term vision for every athlete who joins the program.
The goal was never just wins. The goal was always legacy. Athletes who go on to represent something bigger than themselves — in high school, college, and in life.
Our Mission
Develop the Whole Athlete
To develop disciplined, confident, and accountable young athletes who compete with intensity, lead with character, and carry the standard of Legacy 7 United in everything they do — on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities.
Our Vision
Build a Lasting Legacy
To become the premier youth flag football and athlete development organization in Northern Virginia — known not for championships, but for the men and women our athletes become. Every season a new chapter. Every athlete a legacy.
The Number
7
Purpose. Leadership. Excellence.
The number 7 carries weight. In athletics, 7 is the quarterback's number — the leader, the decision-maker, the one who sees the whole field. In culture and faith, 7 represents completeness, perfection, and divine purpose.
For Legacy 7 United, 7 is the standard. It represents the seven core principles we build into every athlete: purpose-driven effort, servant leadership, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in every area of life.
When you wear Legacy 7 United, you carry a number with meaning. You are held to a higher standard. You represent something built to last.
